چکیده
Fusion-fission dynamics is investigated with a special emphasis on fusion reactions at low energy for which shell effects and pairing correlations can play a crucial role leading in particular to multi-modal fission. To follow the dynamical evolution of an excited and rotating nucleus we solve a 2dimensional Langevin equation taking explicitly light-particle evaporation into account. The confrontation theory-experiment is demonstrated to give interesting information on the model presented, its qualities as well as its shortcomings.

The structure of the 5q configuration states with strangeness S = +1 is further studied in the chiral SU(3) quark model based on our previous work. We calculate the energies of fifteen low configurations of the 5q system, four lowest configurations of J π =

We propose a new nucleosynthesis process in which various nuclei are formed through the liquid-gas phase transition of supernova matter as a preprocess of the standard r-process, and study its possibility of realization qualitatively. In the relativistic mean field and statistical model calculations, we find that this process may take place and help the later r-process to proceed.

In this report we examine two topics relating to previous work. However we feel that there are points to be made which we have not made before. A common thread in the two problems is that they both involve the isospin variable in an important way. In a publication by Devi et. al. [1] we calculated the excitation energies of T=Tmin+1 states in even-odd nuclei and of T=Tmin+2 states of even-even ...
